Special programme: "Como el Agua" – Homage to Paco de Lucía

Hardly anyone has shaped the Spanish flamenco landscape as much as Paco de Lucía. Far beyond the borders of Spain, he has become a symbolic figure for the opening and connection of tradition and innovation in flamenco.

This is also the starting point of Christina Zurbrügg's musical world. For many years she has been singing traditionals such as the folk songs of Federico García Lorca and traditional yodels, only to find her way more and more to her own songs and compositions. The singer can look back on thirteen music albums so far. Christina Zurbrügg is congenially accompanied by flamenco virtuoso Martin Kelner.

Songs from the folk song collections of Federico García Lorca and Manuel de Falla and from the album Hispanoamerica. Music by Pepe de Lucía and Canciones by the legendary flamenco singer Camarón de la Isla, as well as Paco de Lucía's homage to the guitarist Sabicas. World hits such as Volver, El día que me quieras and songs from the posthumously released album Cancion andaluza.
