CHRISTINA ZURBRÜGG QUINTET

„The Heart is an Eternal Wanderer”

What sets Christina Zurbrügg apart – now and always – is her original mix of songwriting, rap and contemporary, modern yodelling. With her marvellous voice Zurbrügg is building bridges between down to earth traditionals and urban soundscapes. The polyglot cosmopolitan sings in German, English, French, Spanish and exotic Schwyzerdütsch. The "Südtiroler Wochenzeitung" puts it in a nutshell: “Zurbrügg impresses us most of all with her voice, her eloquent sense of humour and her brilliant yodelling, which lends wings to herself and to her audience…”

2021 will see the release of her 14th music album, "The Heart is an Eternal Wanderer". Ambiance and groove, magic and lightness, a chamber music touch, fine nuances and a lot of space for lyrics in German and English. Zurbügg interprets her own lyrics and those of the Austrian poet Heinz R. Unger, a friend of hers, with a clear, unmannered voice.

Songs about the earth, being on the road, forests and seas, new visions, lazy Sunday afternoons and love.
